Dit jaar (2025) wordt het bestaan van 100 jaar TT Assen gevierd. Bij het tuincentrum Tuinland is een kleine race tentoonstelling te zien, Daar trof ik deze Kreidler Van Veen 50cc aan. In 1973 werd Jan van Veen hiermee wereldkampioen en in 1974 deed Henk van Kessel hetzelfde. Ik kon er niet helemaal goed bij, maar ik denk leuke foto's voor de liefhebber. Ik ga nu in ieder geval de bouwdoos van Brach kopen.

This year (2025) we are celebrating the 100 years of TT Assen. At the local garden centre Tuinland is a small exhibition. I noticed this Kreidler Van Veen 50CC. In 1973 the Dutchman Jan van Veen made it to world champion with this and in 1974 the Dutchman Henk van Kessel made it too. I couldn't get quite close as i wanted, but i think nice pictures for the lovers. I will now buy a Brach kit.

In september 2020 heb ik het Schumacher Museum in Keulen bezocht. Het is een vrij kleinschalig gebeuren, maar voor een Ferrari liefhebber natuurlijk reuze leuk om even te bekijken. Foto's maken is soms wat lastig, want alle F1 wagens staan in een glazen box. Dit betekent veel schittering in het glas. Ik heb mijn best gedaan.

In September 2020 i have visited the Schumacher Museum in Cologne. It's a pretty small happening, but to a Ferrari fan of course very nice to see. Taking photo's is sometimes a bit awkward, as all F1 cars are in some kind of glass boxes. This means a lot of glare. I've done my best.
