Een nieuw restoratie project. Deze Citroën 2CV6 uit 1980 heeft origineel zwarte trimming rond het voorraam en raam in de achterdeur en de c-stijl. Het originele model had deze in het chrome. Iemand heeft daar een soort zwarte trimming gemaakt van draad, maar totaal verkeerde lijm gebruikt. Gevolg, smeerpartij en 'fogging'. Nu zien of ik dat kan verhelpen. Ik kies ervoor om de trimming niet meer te plaatsen, maar alles aan het eind af te plakken en te spuiten. Eerst zien hoe ik het allemaal ga aanpakken, eerst schuren en polijsten denk ik.

Het verwijderen van de ramen heeft ook gevolgen voor het lak. De ramen zaten deels gelijmd, waardoor verf los laat. Na restoratie niet meer zichtbaar.
The removal of the windows had consequences for the paint. The windows were partially glued, so paint came off. After restoring this will not be visible.

De voorruit is er al eerder door iemand uitgehaald. Lichte schade.

Heldere lak werkt ook niet. Op zoek naar nieuwe ramen of ik moet ze dupliceren met de vacuum machine.
Clear coat doesn't work either. Looking for new ones or i need to duplicate them with my vacuum machine.
