Deze is weer van NewScratch. Vaak zie ik dat onderdelen beschadigd zijn, maar deze keer is het wel heel erg. Ik ga proberen te bouwen, anders koop ik een andere, eventueel een ander merk. Ik wilde er veel tijd aan besteden met het maken van carbon fiber sjablonen, maar dat ga ik nu niet meer doen.

De vloer past erg slecht, veel werk om dit passend te maken.

Ik trek met potlood een lijn om de body. Je kunt zien hoever de gleuven ernaast zitten.
With a pencil i draw a line around the body. You can see how much the trenches are out of line.
Daarna is het een kwestie van voorzichtig frezen.
Then i need to mill it carefully.
Nu nog wat afwerken met een handvijl.
Now work it further with a hand file.
Ik wilde de vents openen meet een scriber, maar de body is veel te dik daarvoor. Improviseren dus, maar dat komt later.
I wanted to open the vents with a scribing tool, but the body is much too thick for this. So i will improvise, but that will come at a later time.

Het rood erop. De kleur is wat donkerder dan het lijkt door het led-licht.
The red is on. The color is slightly darker than it looks, because of the led-light.
